High School Save-A-Credit Courses for Pike Central High School Students
Pike Central High School students wanting to complete remaining high school credits to obtain their high school diploma can do so by taking adult secondary credit classes in Pike County. These classes are taught by a licensed secondary teacher - Mrs. Luzell Carter - and her instructional assistant Laura Graves.
Students work their way through courses on the Novel Stars electronic curriculum courseware on the computer. Novel Stars courses have been approved for Indiana. They are designed to be as rigorous as those taught in a regular high school setting.
Credits are awarded by Pike Central High School, or by the Pike County School Corporation, via the PCSC Adult Education Program.
PCHS students, as well as high school students from around the area, can "recover" high school credit classes by enrolling in the Pike County High School Save-A-Credit program. For more information about completing your high school diploma by making up lost high school credit classes, please contact Mrs. Terri Holmes at 812-354-8731, ext. 709.
