Peer Tutors

The Peer Tutors are a group of students who apply to be part of the Peer Tutoring program. If chosen, they are assigned a student or group of students to work with throughout the semester. The Peer Tutor is required to assist in all aspects of the student's life….educational, social and emotional.

The Peer Tutor basically does what the classroom teachers requests. This may include reading tests to the student, reviewing for tests, planning individual assignments to reinforce what the student is currently working on in class.

The Peer Tutors provide an extra pair of eyes and hands for the classroom teacher. The Peer Tutor can give individual assistance when the classroom teacher is unable to.
