The High School Student Government has many different activities that they are in charge of and participate in. They are in charge of the Powder Puff Football Game, Tailgate Party, Fall Homecoming, Student Recognition Rally, Winter Homecoming, Student Government elections, Beachless Volleyball and much more. They have also taken field trips for leadership conference. They have also taken trips to Pacers, Colts and St. Louis Cardinals games. They do service activities such as raise money for Riley for Children and different community activities.
The Student Government meetings are normally held on Fridays at 7:50 in the Band Room.
Elections are held in late April or early May for the following year. Each student interested in running for an office or becoming a member must attend one of two mandatory meetings, where the Student Government Operating Policies and Constitution will be gone over. All students are welcome to be a part of student government.
Student Government is a very rewarding experience.
