We will be holding the final Middle School PTO meeting for the current school year Thursday May 17th 6:30pm in the WAC. The election for the 2012/2013 officers will take place. We really need some dedicated parents/teachers to help make this Middle school PTO a success. This year has been progressive in growing funds to be able to bring in some speaker/activities for our Middle school in 2012/2013 school year. Hope you can join us.

A reminder to students that you MUST return all library books and pay your fines before going on a field trip. If you have any questions, please check with Dee. And, for 7th graders, overdue books and fines will prevent you from attending the talent show.

Mrs. West�s 6^th grade math classes were recently involved in a 6 week Math Madness competition through TenMarks. There were approximately 900 classes participating in our level of competition. Mrs. West�s 3^rd period math class placed 268^th; her 1^st period math class placed 130^th; and her 5^th period math class placed 127^th answering 2183 questions correctly out of 2301 for a 95% average. Special thanks to the top students in each class: Taylor Deffendoll, Elijah Dotterweich & Weston Reed. Congratulations!!

The book fair will continue to be open through noon today. Anyone who wants to make a purchase should do so before we box up the books and close the cases.

The Patoka Township Fire Department is having an open house on Saturday, June 2 from 1-4:00 P.M. There will be door prizes, food and more.

There will be a brief meeting for 8^th grade girls interested in playing H.S. volleyball next year on Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the WAC.

Attn. 8^th graders: if you are planning on running cross country in the fall, please sign up in the M.S. office.

Students: All files will be deleted over the summer. Please remember to copy all files from your I:drive before you leave that you want to keep on a flash drive or CD. Students that are in Mr. Niehaus� classes make sure that you copy all the files that go along with your projects. There are several extension files, an Inventor Folder and Old Versions folder that you need to make sure and copy also.
