In the operation of child nutrition programs, no child will be discriminated against because of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.  REMINDER:  all checks to the cafeteria MUST have a social security number, date of birth or driver's license number.

LUNCH & BREAKFAST POLICIES

The Pike Central cafeteria serves a Class A lunch and an ala Carte line each day according to the state school lunch program regulations. The following rules must prevail if students are to have a pleasant atmosphere for lunch:

1. Do not run to the cafeteria.
2. Do not crowd into the lunch line. Wait your turn.
3. Keep the noise down so everyone can enjoy his or her meal.
4. Clean your table after you eat and return your tray to the washing area.
5. If anything is spilled, report this to the attendant in charge.
6. Students should sit quietly in the cafeteria area after eating or go to the student commons area.
 
Lunch periods will be according to the period the student has been scheduled to eat. Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. to 8:17 a.m. each day that the middle school is not on a delay schedule.

2011-2012 Cafeteria Information

You may pick up a free/reduced application at any of the three elementary offices or Pike Central Middle-High School Offices. If you received a letter in the mail that you qualified for Direct Certification you will not need to fill out an application for the 2011-2012 school years. If you did not receive this letter you will need to fill out an application before September 11, 2010. If there is not a new application on file for the 2011-2012 by the above date your child/children will no longer be eligible for benefits. The amount of money that your child spends is between you and them but please keep in mind that the money goes very fast if your child is eating in the ala-carte line or purchasing snacks, tea, etc.
