The PCMS Parent Teacher Organization is selling stadium seats with the Pike Central Chargers Logo on them for $45 (click here to see picture).  We have large stadium seats and small stadium seats both are $45.00

We also have Poms and Megaphones for sale as well (click here to see picture).

If any one is interested they can inquire at the PCMS Office.

Our children need us to be involved in their education and that involvement should not stop just because they have moved to the middle school. We would like to help generate new ways you can support your teenager.  If you have questions or would like to help, click here to download form and please return to the school.

Thank you for your support.

Research has shown that children of involved parents do better in school and on standardized tests, have fewer behavior problems, and are less likely to use drugs or alcohol.  Researchers have been studying the effects parents attitudes and actions have on their children's academic success for more than 30 years.  The results have been consistent.  Anne Henderson and Nancy Berla summed it up in their book, A New Generation of Evidence:  the Family is Critical to Student Achievement, which reviewed the existing research:  "When parents are involved in their children's education at home, they do better in school.  And when parents are involved in school, children go farther in school and the schools they go to are better."  (PTOToday.com)
