May 2nd-6th--National Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.

May 2nd-13th--Kindergarten will be celebrating Community Helpers.  

May 9th--First grade field trip to Wessleman Woods Nature Preserve.  Bring a sack lunch.

May 11th--School Nurse's Day.  Thank you Nurse Tricia!!

May 12th--Students & staff wear your red "BE" shirts.  Preschool field trip to CMOE/Chuck E. Cheese.  4th grade field trip to the Evansville Museum and Immersive Theater.

May 13th--5th grade orientation at Pike Central Middle School.  Student Council field trip after school.

May 16th-20th--Peer mediator spirt week in honor of our 5th grade class.  CLICK HERE for daily themes.  

May 16th--Peer mediators will travel to Laurel Lanes during the school day for an end of year celebration.

May 17th--Preschool Beach Day.  5th grade graduation and awards program in the gym at 6:30 p.m.

May 18th--Preschool graduation program at 10:30 fro A.M. class and 2:40 p.m. for P.M. class.

May 18th-19th--BOGO book fair.  For every item you purchase you get the second item of equal or lesser value for FREE!

May 19th--Last day for Preschool.  3rd grade field trip to Lincoln Boyhood Memorial Park.  5th grade field trip to Indianapolis Zoo and Museum.  Last day for J.A.M. Club for 3rd & 4th grade.

May 20th--K-4 awards at 9:00 a.m.  5th grade D.A.R.E. graduation immediately following awards program.  

May 23rd--PES FUN DAY!  This is an end of year celebration for a successful school year.  Last day of school.  Report cards will be mailed.

 PCHS graduation will be May 27th at 7:30 p.m.


The Pike County School Corporation along with Indianapolis Power & Light will be holding the 14th Annual Pike County School Corporation Recognition Dinner on Tuesday, May 24th.  The dinner recognizes the Top 10% of Senior Class, National Honor Society, IP&L Classroom Grants & Scholarships, Vocational and Technical Awards, Teacher of the Year Awards and Distinguished Alumni.  Below are the applications forms for the Teacher of the Year and Distinguished Alumni Awards.
