Lunches:  The school cafeteria supplies hot lunches. Milk and juice will be offered with each meal. The rates are as follows:

Any student, who charges, must pay the charge within that week.  You will not be served breakfast if you have a charge.  Charging will not be permitted after May 1st.

Lunch Room Policy

A nutritious lunch is served daily; therefore, all students are encouraged to participate in the lunch program.  Paying for lunch is done weekly.  Occasionally a student may lose or forget his lunch money and if this occurs, he may charge his lunch for that day. Otherwise lunch charges are held to a minimum.  A special form is available to pupils not financially able to pay.  If you want to apply for free lunches for your children, fill out the forms and return immediately.

Students are to enjoy lunch and talking is permitted. Yelling or loud talking is not permitted.  No food will be carried from the lunchroom to other parts of the building unless a teacher or lunchroom supervisor gives permission.  If a child brings his lunch, the drink must be in a thermos bottle.  No bottles or cans are permitted.  Students can also buy milk if so desired.

Computerized Lunch Program

Parents should make deposits to their child’s lunch account on Mondays or the first day of the school week.  Parents will be notified when the balance is below +$3.00 at which time a deposit should be made.  Parents can make deposits by the month if they so choose. Any student, who charges, must pay the charge within that week.  You will not be served breakfast if you have a charge.  Charging will not be permitted after May 1st.
