Ms. Jodie Elkins and Dr. Suzanne Blake recently attended the National Rural Education Convention in Chattanooga, Tennessee.   Ms. Elkins was the Indiana Small and Rural Schools Association representative and was a nominee for the National Teacher of the Year award.  Ms. Elkins had the pleasure to meet Ms. Jenny Maras who represented the State of Minnesota.  Ms. Maras was named the National Teacher of the Year at the convention and will travel the country next year to advance Rural Education.  While there, Dr. Blake served as a presenter at the National Convention on Wednesday afternoon.  Ms. Elkins, Dr. Blake and Dr. Chris Lagoni, Executive Director of ISRA, represented Indiana at the NREA convention.
