Mason's General Store at PCMS and PCHS

We are so excited to announce the opening of a new resource for our students, called Mason’s General Store.  The mission for "Mason's General Store” is to provide “free” clothing and other necessities to students by creating a store and shopping experience.

Our project is named after a long-time Pike County School Corporation teacher, Mr. Ivan Mason. He spent his life serving others, and led by example with his generous spirit and Charger Pride! Now we have the chance to honor his name. "Mason's General Store” will serve any PCMS or PCHS student by student/parent request or with a recommendation from a school counselor, principal, social worker, nurse, or school staff.

The goal for “Mason's General Store” is to be a community and school collaborative effort to help our students look and feel their best! We will provide a shopping experience where students can pick out clothing, shoes, coats, socks, school supplies, and hygiene products.  Not only will we be helping our students, we will also be helping the environment. Donating and repurposing clothing prevents it from going to landfills, helps conserve energy, and makes people happy! If you think this will help someone you know, please click on the link to confidentially schedule a time to shop.

How You Can Help

We will rely on donations of gently used clothes and other items from the wish list below. Thank you to all the generous people in our school and community that plan to help with our project.  This is a work in progress!  If you think you can help, please let me know.  If you have any questions, please contact Christine Waddell at
