While PCSC does have stop-arm cameras and will be reporting all offenders to local law enforcement, we’d much rather PREVENT issues from happening than report them after someone has already put lives at risk, so PLEASE keep these reminders in mind:

While PCSC will be unable to provide meals this summer, the information below may be helpful for families looking for summer meal programs.
Indiana has established statutory guidelines that school corporations must follow when consideration the cancellation of a teaching contract. Per IC 20-28-7.5, a teacher is allowed to request separate meetings with the school superintendent and the school board before the school board can vote on the cancellation. Each step impacts the timing of the next step of the process.
A special board meeting, which is open to the public, was posted last week. Over the weekend, requests were received which impact the agenda items for the special meeting. Therefore, the public meeting scheduled for 6:00 pm on April 20, 2026, has been postponed at this time and will not held tonight.

We're happy to share that our recent surplus auction was a big success! Thanks to everyone who participated, we raised over $46,000 that will go right back into supporting our students and programs.
Unlike the unused items being sold, these funds will directly benefit our students. There are a few main reasons that we ended up with these excess items over time — furniture updates over the last 15 to 20 years, the closing of Otwell Elementary, and we made the tough decision to end our Automotive program. After years of searching for a qualified Auto teacher, we had to accept that not many people are willing to leave their high-paying industry job for one in a classroom, and we ultimately decided it made more sense to focus on the programs that are currently strong and growing, such as Welding, Precision Machining, Construction Trades, and more.
This auction helped us make the most of what we have so we can keep investing in great learning opportunities for our students. Thank you for being part of it and for your continued support!

We were just notified that PCSC achieved Riley Corporation status due to the incredible efforts of our students throughout the 24-25 school year. The Pike Central Dance Marathon committee raised over $30,000 for Riley and are one of just 64 districts to achieve this status. Our students are the BEST and it's wonderful to see them recognized.
