Congratulations to Pike Central High School's Varsity Volleyball team and coaches for earning the inaugural IHSVCA Team Academic Award!
To be eligible, teams had to maintain an accumulated GPA of 3.5 or higher for the full school year. Of the nearly 400 high schools in Indiana, only 51 earned this prestigious team award. GO CHARGERS!
Our wonderful PCSC staff has been working hard this summer and are excited for August and the return of students for the 2023-2024 school year. We know that many of you are also ready to begin your school year preparations by completing student registration, which is scheduled to open in Harmony starting JULY 28, 2023.
Registration of returning students is completed online, through your existing Harmony Family Access Portal account. Online registration eliminates the need for in-person appointments, unless you would like assistance or have a new student to enroll. LINQ (TITAN) Family Portal--Online Payment Instructions.
There was a recent update to our online payment program. To pay textbook rental/summer school fees/fees for damaged or lost textbooks please follow the steps below:
Register for a LINQ Connect account or Login if you have already registered. Once you login, add your child/children by clicking on the + in the top right hand corner. Our district is "Pike County School Corporation (IN)". After you've added your child/children you will then click on the 3 horizontal lines in the top left hand corner. Choose "Store" and then "Pike County School Corporation (IN)". Then choose your child's school. On the school page, you will be able to choose your child's name and enter the amount to be paid. In the "Notes" box, please type TBR. If the "Notes" box is left blank, you will be unable to add the amount to be paid to the cart. The "Add To Cart" button will turn blue. Once you add to cart, you can choose another school/another child, if paying for more than one. When you are finished adding everything to the cart, you will click on the cart in the top right hand corner. Choose "Go To Checkout". On the checkout page you will enter your billing address and payment method. Finally, you will click on "Confirm & Pay".

**KEY FAQs:
1) All of your child's account information will be transferred into the new system.
2) The old link will redirect you to the new page. The link on PCSC's website will be updated.
3) If you use the mobile app, a different app will be needed, but your login information is the same.

Mr. DeCrane's 3rd period Spanish III class had a chopped competition today for Salsa. Congratulations to the winners. Fun was had by all.
The PCHS Swing Choir will host their Spring Concert at 2:00 this Sunday, May 7 in the Vance Hays Auditorium. There are over 150 students who will be participating in the show. They will also celebrate the 18 seniors with the Senior Solos section of the concert. If you aren't planning on it, please come out and enjoy the show! It will be memorable.

Mrs. Sparrow's Nutrition class would like to give a shoutout to Jill Hyneman from the Chamber of Commerce. She taught their class how to plant and grow microgreens. They also learned more about microgreens and their nutritional value. The students will be tending to and growing these for the next two weeks and then using them in the cooking portion of their final project. How cool! #WeAreCHARGERS #Chargerpride
